Barstadvik is a settlement in Ørsta municipality in Møre og Romsdal county in Norway. The Barstadvik basic district had 305 inhabitants as of 1 January 2012.

Barstaddalen runs north-south towards Storfjorden in the north. On the west side of the valley is the mountain Klovekinn (920 masl ) with the characteristic Masdalkloven (977 masl). On the east side of the valley are Romestrandshornet (911 masl) and Ramoen (1419 masl) (also called Jønshorn). A side valley to Barstaddalen is Molladalen , an entire valley floor surrounded by high alpine landscape with spikes and thorns and an eldorado for mountain climbers.
Barstadvik has a primary school and a cooperative with a petrol pump. Foodstuffs were traditionally agriculture with grass production, cattle and sheep farming as well as fishing. Tourism is a growing industry. Barstadvik has some fishing industry. The village is otherwise close to Ålesund , so you can commute back and forth.
