Vinnerstad is the church village in Vinnerstad parish in Motala municipality in Östergötland county . The resort is located southeast of Motala .
The farm and the village Vinnerstad The farm Vinnerstad is first mentioned 17 April 1307 when the inheritance is distributed after the deceased wife to the Riksrådet and the queen Abjörn Sixtensson ( Sparre av Tofta ), Ingeborg Ulfsdotter (Ulv) . In addition to Vinnerstad, she owned the farms Hårstorp in Motala parish , Klåstad east of Vadstena (today's Klosterstad) and Husbyfjöl in Brunneby parish , all three in Östergötland , and Göksholm in Närke . |
The estate Vindestad (Latin: Vindistadha ) belonged to Sixten Abjörnsson's children. His son , the knight , councilor and lawyer in Tiohärad Ulf Abjörnsson (Sparre av Tofta), who died in 1347 or 1348 , bequeathed the farm Windestadh ( Windestadhum ) to church or prebend estate . Ulf Abjörnsson probably owned the entire village of Vinnerstad at the time of the donation.
In 1381 , Ulf Abjörnsson's son, the knight, councilor and lawyer in Uppland , Karl Ulfsson (Sparre av Tofta) granted the prebend, which was founded after his father in Linköping Cathedral , land in four parishes in Östergötland, including the farms Vinnerstad and Vräknebo near Motala. On September 1, 1389 , Karl Ulfsson made sure that he would be allowed to keep Windestadha "with several estates" for as long as he lived.
