Grundarfjörður, Snæfellsnes, Iceland
Grundarfoss is one of the largest waterfalls on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland. The falls plunge off a huge cathedral-like wall of basalt, plunging about 230 feet into an amphitheater bowl, just outside of the town of Grundarfjörður. Grunarfoss is a 70 meters tall waterfall on the Grundará river which you´ll not miss on your way to Kirkjufell. |
